Welcome
to Lynn’s Texas Fibers, the home of “fine fibers from
Texas and other nice places.”
The new year is off to a great start. I'm always ready to get back to work on my fiber projects after the holiday season. The time off gives me a chance to recharge and develop new ideas. Do you have any fiber resolutions for 2012? If they involve trying new colors, give Pantone's color for 2012 a go. Pantone calls it tangerine tango - here you can find a similar shade in the dyed merino section labeled spice. If you're not into bright colors begonia and coral may be more to your liking. Whatever your resolutions for the new year may be, here's wishing you much success and happiness in all your undertakings.
Just in: four new shades of the dyed merino/tussah blend. See the these beautiful colors by clicking here (new shades are marked with an *). Several older shades of this popular blend were discontinued to make way for the new ones. If one of your favorites is missing, give me a call. I may have a small supply still on hand. My supplier of hand painted punta wool top has decided to close her business. Get your hands on some of this beautiful fiber while supplies last. To fill the void left by her departure, I'm now stocking some lovely hand dyed BFL and merino/tussah wool from Abstract Fibers. Check out the colors here.
Be sure to check out the new luxury fibers including yak, cashmere and cashgora blends. Click here for details. I am also carrying natural colored Corriedale wool in light brown, medium brown and almost black. This is a great value at only $24/lb.
I have been editing my bookshelves this year so I am offering a selection of weaving and knitting titles at reduced prices. See the whole list here.
Are you interested in silk fusion? My fiber art focus is on this versatile medium. To see my work you can visit my website: www.lynnwilliamsart.com. Please sign my guest book and leave comments. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have concerning the possibilities of silk paper.
If you prefer to do your shopping at 3:00 am and don't want to wait to phone in an order you may now e mail your order to texasfiber@comcast.net. I will create an invoice for you using PayPal. You will receive this invoice at your e mail address, and can pay it using a credit card or your PayPal account. Of course I am always happy to talk to my customers and to answer any questions, but I hope this option will provide a convenient way to place an order for those who know exactly what they need.
