to Lynn’s Texas Fibers, the home of “fine fibers from
Texas and other nice places.”
The backlog caused by winter weather that has been holding up delivery of my latest shipment is finally over! Apparently it has been snowing in some parts of the country. We don't see much in my neighborhood. The good news is most colors are now back in stock, and I can now offer four new shades of multi colored merino. See them here. If the bad weather has you stuck inside, why not turn to fiber? To help you get inspired I'm also introducing new colors of existing lines and some entirely new products. Because the Mauch Chunky roving has proved to be so popular with my beginning spinning students, I'm now carrying seven additional colors. To see the new shades click here. And just because it's nice to have a little sparkle in your life, I'm adding a new roving blend of 63% superwash merino, 20% silk 15% nylon and 2% silver poly. It's super soft and subtly glittery.
Have you always wanted to learn how to spin? I teach group classes at the Guild House in the Chelsea Market. For schedules and class information click here. If group learning is not your thing, I also offer private instruction. Feel free to contact me.
Because I'm in the midst of downsizing, I'm selling an assortment of antique spinning wheels. Some need minor repairs to be in working order - others are missing their flyers or other parts. Send me a message if you're interested in a do it yourself project, and I can send you photos and more details.
I now have a great needle felting fiber on hand, and will be putting some new kits together soon. Stay tuned for photos and more information. In addition I can now offer dyed silk in beautiful solid colors. These will also be available in kits at very reasonable prices. I still have supplies of hand painted punta wool top on hand, but some colors are no longer in stock. Please check availability before placing an order. To fill the void left by the loss of the punta wool, I'm now stocking some lovely hand dyed BFL and merino/tencel wool from Abstract Fibers. Check out the colors here.
Be sure to check out the specials page. Several shades of multi colored merino and the merino/tussah blend have been discontinued. I'm offering the remaining stock at reduced prices. Quantities are limited.
Are you interested in silk fusion? My fiber art focus is on this versatile medium. To see my work you can visit my website: www.lynnwilliamsart.com. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have concerning the possibilities of silk paper.
If you prefer to do your shopping at 3:00 am and don't want to wait to phone in an order you may now e mail your order to firstname.lastname@example.org. I will create an invoice for you using PayPal. You will receive this invoice at your e mail address, and can pay it using a credit card or your PayPal account. Of course I am always happy to talk to my customers and to answer any questions, but I hope this option will provide a convenient way to place an order for those who know exactly what they need.
